Provisional Work Permit (PWP)

Navigating the complexities of immigration can be challenging, and we’re here to make that process easier for you. The Provisional Work Permit (PWP) is a temporary work permit issued by the Bureau of Immigration to foreign nationals. It is designed to provide a legal framework for foreigners to work in the Philippines while their application for a 9G or pre-arranged employee visa is being processed.

The PWP is valid for a period of three months, with the possibility of an extension for another final three months. Throughout this duration, the status of the foreign national is maintained as a tourist.

What You Need to Know:

The processing of a PWP typically takes 3 to 5  days. If your 9G working visa is in process, you may be eligible to apply for a provisional work permit to begin work legally in the Philippines.
