Duty-Free Eligibility
Used household goods and personal effects can be imported duty-free if:
The owner has resided outside Thailand for at least 12 consecutive months.
The items have been owned and used for a minimum of six months.
The shipment arrives within six months of the owner’s arrival in Thailand.
Only one air shipment and one sea shipment are permitted.
Each type of electrical appliance is limited to one unit; duplicates may incur duties.
Duty-free importation is allowed once per lifetime.
